52 Topics/Themes

Are you wondering about the 52 biblical and Christian topics that you will use in your weekly disciple meetings? The purpose of these topics and themes are to provide you a solid foundation for growth and spiritual maturation. Keep in mind that you are encouraged to keep a journal where questions can arise and provide a focus for further study or discussion. Leading a disciple is not about using the dogma or denominational teachings to add to the corporate body. This is about providing a starting point for a life long relationship with God. We were created for His pleasure (Psalm 149:4).

If you follow these topics, starting the week of December 31, 2017 - January 6, 2018, you would spend the first 26 weeks just helping your disciple become familiar with the personalities in the Bible. The reason for starting with the personalities and events from the Bible is so your disciple has a reference point and foundation for self-directed study. The topic of Salvation would be explored during the week of July 1-7 2018. During this same period of time, people in the United States will be celebrating Independence Day (the 4th of July).

The topics marked in bold/blue represent milestone weeks. These are weeks in which the topic will be significant in your disciple experience. Also, there may be holidays and biblical celebrations during those same weeks.
